I was born and raised in Chicago and spent 20 years in California before returning to Chicago for retirement. Yes, everyone wonders why Chicago, but it’s home and I did miss the seasons and people.

With the popularity of working at home and technology advancements, moving from one area to another is much easier. My career in teaching was one of travel and presentations. My passion is teaching. My skills are in finance and accounting.

I’ve been a freelance for most of my career and retired at 62. Along with a successful corporation, I’ve taught in the international world for a variety of firms. I will share some of the pictures and stories throughout the postings. No matter where you go, financial security is the same the basic foundation is practiced globally.

I worked on a part-time basis for 20 years as a bookkeeper for a real estate investor/philanthropist in California. This complemented the travel throughout the world teaching Finance & Accounting. My experience also includes analysis, Microsoft Excel, and Critical Thinking.

I’m looking to slow the pace now. Take time to write, enjoy my plants, and aquarium, and walk & talk. I’m very energetic and believe in staying active.
